Mont-Saint-Michel: Mont-Saint-Michel is renowned for being a place of pilgrimage and international tourism. The different steps of construction have made it a unique architectural ensemble. It was listed as an UNESCO World Heritage Site in  1979.”

The Bayeux Tapestry: “To safeguard one of the most impressive works of history in authentic surroundings is an art. Bayeux does this wonderfully, thanks to its varied, strong, well preserved heritage.”

Sainte-Mère-Eglise: “Private John Steele became famous when he hung from the church steeple by his parachute during Operation Overlord.”

The D-Day Beaches: “The year, 2009 we celebrate the 65th anniversary of D-Day. There are several commemorative places to visit on the Normandy coast.”

 Honfleur: “It’s a gem! You’ll be charmed by the famous scenic village of the Normandy school of painters.”

Le Havre: “With its 193,000 inhabitants, Le Havre is the biggest city in Normandy. In July 2005, Auguste Perret’s post-World War II reconstruction of the town centre was declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.”

Etretat: “A romantic town looking over the Channel, Etretat was a source of inspiration for many famous artists. You only have to spend a few moments there to understand why.”

Rouen: “A true museum city, with its beautiful wood paneled houses, cobblestoned streets and gothic churches, Rouen won’t let you remain stony-faced for long.”

Event Exhibition: Claude Monet’s work is displayed at the Museum of Impressionism in Giverny.
